Hands-on Educational Hive Tour & Refreshments

10:30a At Kerber's Farm 

During this single-session hands-on intro to beekeeping event, participants will take a look inside a working hive. This class is perfect for those expecting their first colonies this season, as well as anyone seriously considering starting with bees in the near future. Learn how to safely light and use a smoker, observe honeybees up close and gain a sense of what a hive inspection looks like. Following the hive tour, enjoy light refreshments and conversation.  A great
chance to connect with fellow aspiring beekeepers.
